Graduate Show ….a great opening night.
The hard work has finally paid off. Friday night saw the grand opening of our hotly anticipated Graduate Show, the newly revamped studio spaces were buzzing, champagne corks were popping, and students had ditched their painting overalls and were looking ready to party. Current students, parents, friends, staff, practitioners and ex students all excited to see the vast array of work on display from Architecture, Interior Architecture, Sustainable Design and Product Design Courses. Several alumni commented on this years show being the best ever. There was of course much obligatory posing for proud photos and at least four members of staff took to the decks. Then it was time for the awarding of both internal and external prizes and some very emotional speeches (more on this to follow). Happily the rain held off for once as we watched the sun set on a truly amazing opening night.
