The end of a long term is approaching and whilst many students will be returning home some will be staying in Brighton or Eastbourne over the Easter vacation.
A number of events have been organised in collaboration with Active Student and the Parklife Team for international students, but they are open to all students, and as always, everyone is welcome!
Fantastic Beasts: the secrets of Dumbledore. Tuesday 12 April: meet at 11.00 outside Duke’s at Komedia on Gardner Street.
This is a popular film and we recommend booking a seat in advance. We will meet beforehand, and afterwards for a coffee and to chat about the film.
Eastbourne Beach Walk. Wednesday 13 April: meet at 12.00 outside Queenwood Library at the Darley Road site.
Join us for a scenic walk along Eastbourne seafront. We will pass through Holywell, along the main seafront, and on to Sovereign Harbour. Please wear flat, comfortable shoes, and be sure to check the weather forecast before you set off so you know if you will need sunscreen or waterproofs! Get in touch if you’d like more detailed information on the route.
Community Gardening Taster Session. Friday 22 April: meet at 10.15 outside Manor House on the Moulsecoomb campus.
We will be spending the day volunteering with the Moulsecoomb Forest Garden and Wildlife Project (MFGWP), which is based behind Moulsecoomb train station. During this session we will take part in various aspects of gardening, working alongside other volunteers. No gardening experience is necessary. Lunch is provided.
Book a place by midday on Wednesday 20 April.
