Shout out from Matt Sanderson who is a student on our MA Sustainable Design Course.
Matt volunteers for a brilliant local charity called MenWalkTalk. Their aim is breaking the stigma surrounding Men and Mental Health and raise awareness of the importance for men, of all ages, to begin to feel more comfortable opening up by engaging with other men.
They organise walks around Sussex to help men understand the importance of getting out in the fresh air and talking openly about anything that may be on their mind, in turn reducing the number of men suffering in silence.
So why not join Matt for a walk and talk meet-up in the beautiful 3 mile long Grade II Alexandra Park of historic interest in Hastings. The meeting is 1st May at 10:30am outside ‘eat @ The Park Café’ which is in the heart of the park.
Feel free to bring a dog and make sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Bring your own drink or reusable coffee cup for the cafe (which is great too) https://menwalktalk.co.uk/events/ola/services/alexandra-park-hastings-walk-talk
