Please join MA Sustainable Design students at their end of year show at The Ledward Centre in Brighton on August 20th – 23rd. The show celebrates radical alternative visions of collective futures and possibilities of sustainable change. The work on show presents a snapshot of the adventures through post graduate study in Sustainable Design completed by this years group of gifted design researchers.
Sustainable Design is diverse, contested and a continually shifting discipline, making it an exciting place to study, work and research. When discussing sustainability challenges the students on the MA Sustainable Design at Brighton engage in ongoing debates about the most pressing issues, including equality, ecological concerns, consumption and good health.
Collectively they bring a wide range of life, educational and professional experience working with design and change making agendas worldwide. Through their studies, they bring together theories, practices, ideas, practices and experiences, critiquing how design can understand, define and attend to the complex issues of sustainability.
There will be a private view (invite only) on Saturday 20th August from 3-7pm. General admission Sunday 21st – Tuesday 23rd August.
