MA Sustainable Design Research Exhibition: London Design Festival from 17th – 24th September.

In 2022 our MA Programme in Sustainable Design at the University of Brighton celebrates its 14th anniversary as London Design Festival celebrates its 20th. As the longest-running MA course in Sustainable Design in the UK, we have researched, witnessed and informed enormous changes in the field. We continue to explore and develop new and critical understandings of what sustainable design is and can be. We are proud to support students working in a range of design fields to generate progressive, critical and valuable design research working towards sustainable change.

Pictured are Course Leaders Dr Tom Ainsworth and Sally Sutherland who said of the exhibition

” This exhibition introduces work by student researchers who have completed the programme over the last three years. As a group, we bring a wide range of life, educational and professional experience working with design and change-making agendas worldwide. Through design research, we bring together theories, practices, ideas and experiences, critiquing how design can understand, define and attend to the complex issues of sustainability.Together we celebrate and explore radical alternative visions of collective futures and possibilities of sustainable change.”

If you have any questions about the exhibition or any of the work presented please contact Sally Sutherland by email S.C.Sutherland@brighton.ac.uk

The exhibition is open from 11:00—16:00 every day. It is free, and no ticket is required.
