Welcome to the Summer Lecture Series.
After a very successful Spring Public Lecture Series the BIAAS team and their peers, have been organising a summer evening lecture series. These will run from Wednesday 21st April and then on Thursdays through to Thursday 13th May.
The first practice to present will be Atelier La Juntana.
Atelier La Juntana is a group of architects and artists developing architectural models in an international framework. The work ranges from the academic to the professional fields, working in partnership with the Technical University of Madrid and Cantabria ́s Architecture Official College in several projects, and actively cooperating with international architecture offices such as MVRDV (Netherlands) and ADEPT (Denmark). Using a balanced mix of art and technical skills, their practice combines the precision of the architectural project along with remarkable (innovative or handcrafted) materials and techniques.
