RIBA Mock Interviews Event.
We are delighted to announce that the School of Architecture and Design annual RIBA Mock Interviews will be held online again year. The event will be held this coming Thursday 24th June from 2pm-5pm and presents a huge opportunity for our undergraduate and post-graduate architecture students to get that all important job interview experience.
The interviews which in previous years have been held in person will be conducted via MS Teams. Through the magic of technology, we have twenty architects from the South and South East Region taking part and looking forward to meeting our talented BA Architecture, BA Interior Architecture and M’Arch students; and we are excited to confirm that yes…… the construction industry is busy!
The format for the afternoon is that each student will get the opportunity for up to five 15 minute interviews with different architects. The idea being that students get both interview experience and to meet different types of practice. By sharing their CV and portfolios on screen, it’s a great way to practice job interview tactics and get lots of constructive feedback from a range of practising architects……. and often these mock interviews have lead to real interviews.
