Continuing in their initial mini project “Object from my past” the BA Interior Architecture students have moved from observation and orthographic through to large one-to-one drawings of their objects in relation to a specific site at Mithras House.
The objective was simple – their site must be a space where their object interacted in an atypical, unexpected or uncanny way. This allowed students to find a conceptual underpinning and begin building a narrative for their objects within their new context.
Once the sites were chosen and survey, each student was then give a sheet of 900x1800mm paper which was to form the backdrop for their one-to-one in plan or section. Beyond these parameters, the medium students chose to use was up to them, this led to an array of hybrid outputs some of which can be seen in the photos here.
