• An ACAN meeting back when we could all be in a room together.

The Mechanics of Architectural Practice: Open Lecture.

As part of BA Architecture Practices programme we were delighted to have Anna Webster (If_Do, Interrobang, WebbYates and ACAN) speak to our students about how she got into architecture and what she does now.
Anna’s talk was very interesting and timely for numerous reasons. The picture here shows an ACAN meeting last year when we could all get in a room together and normally a talk such as this would have been delivered in Mithras House to SoAD students and staff only but current times we were able to extend this to an open lecture……so do have a look at what Anna had to say.
Here is the link to the video.
Anna was invited to speak by Duncan Baker Brown a fellow member of ACAN. ACAN is the Architects Climate Action Network, a network of individuals within architecture and related built environment professions taking action to address the twin crises of climate and ecological breakdown.
