Calling Part 2 and 3 Architecture students : RIBA Future Architects need you.
RIBA Future Architects which was launched last year as the umbrella for RIBA’s support for students. It is developing in a really exciting way to meet the needs of students at all levels. So Part 2 and 3 Architecture students will not want to miss this exciting new opportunity to ‘actively’ take part and shape the initiatives direction.
RIBA are running an online workshop for an hour on Thursday 26 November from 1pm to 2pm, to shape the future of Future Architects. It will be facilitated by Kate Hunter, who heads up Future Architects.
As such RIBA are looking for Part 2 and Part 3 students who might be interested in taking part in this – (you don’t have to be RIBA members). Those who are interested can reply to Justine on j.devenney@brighton.ac.uk or to RIBA directly by emailing Jenny.Peterson@riba.org it’s up to you but RIBA need responses by 13th November.
RIBA Future Architects is a support network for architecture students during their educational journey to becoming an architect.
We would like to invite you to take part in a workshop to contribute to the ongoing development of this initiative.
The project has been developed in the recognition that RIBA is unusual amongst institutes in the construction and creative industries in that it does not have an extended pathway for students and graduates, so the purpose of the project is to improve RIBA engagement with this important group and provide visible support throughout the student journey.
The programme encompasses a range of existing regional initiatives as well as newly developed content to provide a platform that supports RIBA’s aims to attract and retain the best and most diverse talent, and to engage the next generation of architects.
As you are currently involved in Architectural Education, we would like to invite you to attend an initial workshop.
