Duncan Baker Brown: Reducing construction waste and reusing materials.

Our ever busy Duncan Baker-Brown has been interviewed by House Planning Help. Duncan who is Director of BBM Sustainable Design and tutor in the School of Architecture and Design discusses how the construction industry can be more mindful of sustainability issues and reduce the waste that is created on many building projects. He argues that with just a little more time and in taking an alternative approach to projects, small changes can make significant and long term differences. Duncan of course has been promoting a sustainability agenda for many years but with increasing recognition of the construction industry being a significant contributor of unnecessary waste, his expertise and views are timely.
