Level 4’s photography workshop day started with Claire Hoskin demonstrating how to photograph models in the photography studios. The workshops discussed how students could position their models, set up lighting and use aperture and shutter speed to get the most out of their model making for their portfolio images.
A fantastic lecture in the afternoon demonstrated how photographers have used these techniques, along with pin hole photography, multiple exposure images and, multi-camera set ups, to use and capture movement. It included images made for both creative and scientific purposes with exposure times ranging from millions of a second to three years. Some really valuable skills, tips and ideas.
