Joel Wallace Erabu wins Scott Brownrigg prize in first design led photography competition.
BA Architecture recent graduate Joel Wallace Erabu has won third prize in Architects Scott Brownrigg first design-led photography competition on Instagram for this stunning image of the West Pier in Brighton. The competition was an opportunity for both architectural and interior design students to show their talent in capturing the built environment, both externally and internally whilst exploring the space it occupies, the atmosphere it evokes, with an attention to the materials, texture, movement and detail it carries. A hundred and twenty one photos were entered by fifty three individual students from twenty one Universities UK Wide.
Last week Scott Brownrigg held a prestigious private view and awards ceremony exhibiting a selection of the entries. Students were invited to attend with the opportunity to network with Scott Brownrigg staff and RIBA representatives. CEO Darren Comber presented one of the top prizes to Joel Wallace Erabu from University of Brighton School of Architecture and Design.
