Having negotiated the territory of their garment with their peers, our students work on unexpected ways to support and discuss their interest in this piece of fabric. They do this by building a prop that can hold it in a way specific to the condition they want to explore. The way the garment relates to their individual bodies is questioned in some of the work, while others respond by building a new body for the fragment.
Making things is crucial for Studio 2. Our students engage into making techniques in the school’s workshops: Exploring materials as well as ways of forming and joining them.
