Studio Survivor have been working hard unpicking the new brief this week and are beginning to think about how they might encompass some the the previous themes they investigated last term.
Each student has been asked to create a book that forms a manifesto for their design intent. These are the core concepts they wish to continue with throughout the rest of the academic year, formed into one beautiful, coherent document. Creating a book is no easy task – the graphical eye you need to decide upon whether a layout works in order to bring across the information on the page is huge. They have had to consider the paper quality, colours, hierarchy of information, font sizes and format, font style and much more.
When you come onto an Interior Architecture course you have to be prepared to learn so much more than what you might expect.
