Second and third year BA Interior Architecture students threw themselves into learning and designing through making, as part of the integration of systems and materials (SysMat) in their design module this week. The day started with students presenting a ‘flat lay’ of their materials, tools and ambitions, carefully composed and photographed. Once agreed and signed off, they embarked on an intensive making session in the studios and workshops. The day culminated in a cross-studio showcase of what they managed to make and learn. Great effort, amazing how much creativity and production in possible in one day. Keep up the explorations, testing and iterations, and good luck as you conclude your final semester one design projects!
