Female Firsts Exhibition to mark International Women’s Day.

To celebrate International Women’s Day (8th March) the “Female Firsts” exhibition recognises the achievements of pioneering women in their chosen fields. As our school is preparing it’s submission for the Athena SWAN Gender Equality Charter this is a special year and as such there are twelve new additions for 2019. There is also an opportunity for students to take part and exhibit their own work as part of the LOADED exhibition currently on display which focuses on the dialogue around gender and identity within architecture and design. Across courses many relevant issues are being addressed in various design projects and dissertations, so this also provides a timely opportunity to exhibit some fantastic work and work in progress.
