It’s Graduation time again, this year the new School of Architecture and Design celebrated at The Brighton Centre on Brighton Seafront; usually a venue for music gigs and party conferences the huge auditorium was packed with proud friends and family cheering on the new Graduates. Students danced, marched, paraded and teetered (in impossibly high shoes) across the stage to collect their well earned degree certificates.

Professor Robert Mull, our new Head of School then introduced the 2017 Honoury Doctorate which went Fox Fisher an award winning artist, filmmaker and human rights campaigner with an MA in Sequential Design & Illustration from the University of Brighton. Fox gave a a very moving and thought provoking acceptance speech which received huge applause. Then with the formalities over, it was time for much champagne guzzling, selfies, family photos and of course the obligatory hat throwing, this time on Brighton seafront with a backdrop of sparkling sea and blue skies. Well done everyone.
